If the cooker hood is making a loud noise, it is important to note that this can be normal as it is the sound of the fan operating. If it seems louder than usual, check the following:
- If the filters are dirty: remove the filters to clean, clean the filter assembly, dry thoroughly and refit.
- If the filters are damaged: replace the filters to get better airflow.
- Check that the kitchen has sufficient ventilation.
- Check that there is not a buildup of grease around the hood. If there is, gently clean away to remove.

If the hood doesn’t work, check that the power is switched on (either at the plug, fuse box or isolator switch) and the power button has been pressed.
If the motor cuts out or stops running, check the following:
- If the filters are dirty: remove the filters to clean, clean the filter assembly, dry thoroughly and refit.
- If the filters are damaged: replace the filters to get better airflow.
- Check that the kitchen has sufficient ventilation.
- Check that the hood has not been installed too close to the stove. Check the user manual for the clearance recommendations.

If you have a recirculating cooker hood, cooking smells are expected. If you have a vented hood, the air is usually vented outside. If there is a strong cooking smell, try the following:
- Check that the charcoal filters have been fitted (where applicable). If not fitted, the smell may be stronger.

This product is guaranteed for at least twelve months from the date of original purchase. Any defect that arises due to faulty materials or workmanship will be repaired free of charge (or if applicable the product will be replaced or the purchase price refunded) where possible during this period by the dealer from who you purchased the unit.
